Greetings,

North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) and the board of trustees understands the importance of constructively and swiftly addressing communication between NLACRC and members of our community. Just as important, we recognize that any type of incidents and larger issues around improving trust and communication among the community, families served, and NLACRC, is critical to the role that the regional center system plays in the lives of Californians with developmental disabilities.

NLACRC consistently strives to maintain a level of mutual respect and collaboration throughout all our interactions both internally and externally. We are in the process of developing a short-term and longer-term strategy with actionable steps that will allow for an enhanced level of communication among our board, staff, advocates, family members, and the community. We are confident that these action plans will improve upon our internal and external processes to continue evolving our ongoing work to best serve the unique needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in our community.
