Meet Kelley and her son Aaron, a vibrant 12-year-old with multiple diagnoses including cerebral palsy, autism, and cortical vision impairment. In this heartfelt video, Kelley shares their journey with the North Los Angeles County Regional Center, starting from Aaron’s infancy through his participation in the Self-Determination Program.

Aaron, who’s been in the Self-Determination program since its pilot phase, is now entering his sixth year—and the impact has been life-changing. Kelley highlights how the program has empowered their family to create meaningful social and recreational opportunities tailored to Aaron’s needs, helping him thrive in his community.
