“Day in the Life” of a Service Coordinator
Working at the Regional Center provides a variety of opportunities to connect with the local community. Some days you’ll be in the office, while other times you may visit someone’s home, school, or workplace. An average day will see you speaking to families, local businesses, and other community members in order to build plans for our clients to grow and become as integrated into our community as possible. As a service coordinator, we must be flexible, compassionate, and approachable to effectively support those we serve. Every day presents new challenges, allowing us to build relationships with individuals and families and create a lasting, positive impact in their lives.
