Strengthening Community Access Through a Unified Social Media Approach

As we continue to look for ways to better serve our diverse community, we are exploring an opportunity to bring our English and Spanish social media communications into a more centralized and coordinated approach.

Our goal is not to reduce the importance of language-specific communication, but rather to strengthen it. By managing information through a unified social media strategy, we can ensure that all community members, regardless of their preferred language, receive accurate, timely, and consistent information at the same time.

We recognize that language is deeply connected to culture, identity, and trust. Our Spanish-speaking community is an essential part of who we serve, and we remain committed to providing meaningful, culturally relevant, and linguistically appropriate communications. This initiative is intended to enhance that commitment by improving coordination, reducing the potential for information gaps, and creating a more seamless experience for residents seeking important updates and services.

A centralized approach offers several benefits:
