Community Placement Plan (CPP) / Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP) Priorities Fiscal Year 2025-2026

29 օգոստոսի, 2025 թ

North Los Angeles Regional Center (NLACRC) seeks to ascertain stakeholder input regarding the proposed Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Community Placement Plan (CPP) / Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP) projects.

Pursuant to the DDS published 2025-2026 CPP & CRDP Guidelines, NLACRC conducted outreach activities throughout the year with diverse stakeholder groups, including individuals, family members, providers, and advocates to solicit input for the 2025-2026 CPP & CRDP projects. Outreach activities included targeted surveys, which were distributed via email and posted to NLACRC’s website and social media, meetings with stakeholders, as well as solicitation of input during public meetings such as the NLACRC Vendor Advisor Committee (VAC). Additionally, a review of associated data identified trends in demographics and service needs leading to the following proposed list of projects:

  • Service Provider for a 1200-Sqare-Foot, 2-Bed, 2-Bath, Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) with Delayed Egress/Secure Perimeter to be operated as a Specialized Residential Facility (Level 7)
  • Service Provider for an Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home (EBSH) (coed) to serve adults with significant behavior challenges and service needs requiring placement or deflection from more restrictive settings (4-bed home)
  • Service Provider for a Specialized Residential Facility (Level 7) with Delayed Egress for individuals with substance abuse and mental health service needs (4-bed home)
  • Socialization and Safety Training Program for Teens and Young Adults with intellectual disability and/or severe behavioral service needs currently residing in an Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home (EBSH), licensed residential facility, or who are at risk of placement in a licensed setting.
  • Dental and Medical Desensitization service to be developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to assist individuals who have difficulty accessing dental and/or medical care.
  • Housing Development Organization (HDO) Construction of Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) located in the Antelope Valley to provide affordable housing for two (2) individuals which would enable them to live independently with supportive services in the community.
  • Day Services Emergency Shelter to provide short-term (approximately 3–5 days) emergency shelter services to support clients who must be displaced during disasters. The program will equip and prepare existing Community Care Licensed facilities with supplies, storage, and staffing support to care for NLACRC clients with dignity, safety, and consistency during times of crisis/disaster.

Stakeholders interested in providing input regarding the identified projects should contact resourcedevelopment@nlacrc.org, subject line “FY 2025-2026 CPP/CRDP,” by Friday, September 12, 2025. (Please Note: This is a request for input regarding the projects described above only. NLACRC will issue a Request for Proposals for projects approved by DDS at a future date.)
