Dear NLACRC Community member,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we enter the warmer months, it’s important to take a moment to discuss the safety measures surrounding water and heat. Whether you’re enjoying a day by the pool, planning a beach trip, or simply soaking up the sunshine outdoors, safety should always be a top priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are a few friendly reminders to ensure you and your loved ones stay safe and hydrated during this season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Stay Hydrated:<\/strong> Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially if you’re spending time outdoors or engaging in physical activities. Dehydration can sneak up on you, so keep a water bottle handy.

  2. Sun Protection:<\/strong> Use sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Reapply sunscreen every few hours, especially after swimming or sweating.

  3. Pool and Water Safety:<\/strong> If you’re swimming or near water, always keep an eye on children and inexperienced swimmers. Ensure they wear appropriate floatation devices if needed, and never leave them unattended near water.
