In the fall of 2017, NLACRC conducted a Community Needs Assessment Survey which approximately 1,500 people completed. Nearly 50% of those who responded were individuals who receive regional centers, over 30% were parents or other family members, and close to 20% were those who work with people with developmental disabilities.
The results of the survey are now published in the Stakeholders' Priorities Report that you can view here. We have begun the process of sharing the survey results with our elected representatives and we are committed to working with them to search for solutions to the areas of concern.
It is very important for you to become actively involved to help us keep the momentum moving forward. We ask that you participate in any legislative events that we offer such as legislative advocacy trainings, Town Hall meetings, Candidates' Forums and elections. You truly can make a difference!
