This is a huge victory! Now, the clock is ticking. Legislative leaders know how urgent it is to stabilize the disability services system.<br><br>Governor Newsom is in final negotiations with the Legislature on many issues &#8211; including ours. Provably, the Legislature fully supports increasing provider rates on July 1st. And it&#8217;s equally clear what the Governor prefers.<br><br>It&#8217;s time to let the Governor know&nbsp;you&nbsp;support the provider rate increase!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/fb383cb2186d31908afc55490\/images\/c90e1db8-eb5f-ac1b-7b77-4150ed1092e5.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two ways you can be a part of this advocacy push. The Lanterman Coalition is organizing an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/p2a.co\/oTEAb4Z\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online petition<\/a>, where you can add your name to an open letter to the Governor. It&#8217;s simple way to be counted in support of this critical effort.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For maximum impact, though, we urge you to take three minutes and call Governor Newsom, at&nbsp;<strong>(916) 445-2841<\/strong>, and&nbsp;say &#8220;don&#8217;t delay the rates for developmental disability service providers!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Legislature took steps to fully reject the service provider rate delay.
