El Centro Regional del Condado de North Los Angeles (NLACRC), al igual que todos los centros regionales, est\u00e1 financiado por el estado de California, espec\u00edficamente a trav\u00e9s del Departamento de Servicios de Desarrollo (DDS) del estado. El NLACRC es una corporaci\u00f3n privada sin fines de lucro que opera bajo un contrato anual con el DDS. Todos los fondos del centro regional provienen de sus impuestos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El dinero que recibe el NLACRC del DDS se denomina asignaci\u00f3n de contrato o presupuesto. El NLACRC recibe la asignaci\u00f3n preliminar del presupuesto en julio y luego recibe modificaciones peri\u00f3dicas al presupuesto durante todo el a\u00f1o. El presupuesto tiene dos \u201crecipientes\u201d de dinero:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Operaciones,<\/strong> que paga el funcionamiento del centro regional (salarios de los empleados, beneficios y gastos operativos)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Compra de Servicio (POS)<\/strong> que paga los servicios y el soporte adquiridos para los consumidores elegibles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The Parental Fee Program was repealed effective July 1, 2025. As a result, families no longer will be assessed or charged fees under the Parental Fee Program for eligible 24-hour out-of-home care services provided on or after July 1, 2025.

    Informes
    <\/strong>There no longer is a requirement for regional centers to submit a monthly report to the Department listing new placements, terminated cases, and client deaths.

    Collection Activities
    <\/strong>The Department will continue monthly billing and collection efforts for outstanding and past due parental fees incurred up to and through June 30, 2025, consistent with the law through that date. The Department\u2019s Parental Fee Program staff may contact regional centers for information about families, as needed.

    Audit Activities
    <\/strong>For time periods after June 30, 2025, requirements related to the Parental Fee Program will no longer be part of the Department\u2019s Regional Center biennial audit protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
