Home and Community Based Services (HCBS).<\/p>\n<p>The Directive indicated the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 enacted budget included $15 million in purchase of service funding to assist providers in maintaining ongoing compliance with the HCBS Final Rule, and to support broader work in each community, which promotes and sustains quality service provision. Regional centers should work collaboratively with people who receive services, their families when appropriate, and the service provider community to prioritize the use of available funds to meet the needs of individuals served in their local area.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the March 19, 2025, directive North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is seeking qualified consultants to support HCBS compliance within the catchment area. NLACRC sought input from individuals who receive services, their families, and the service provider community regarding use of the $826,792 allotted within the NLACRC catchment area. Of $826,792.00, <strong>$100,00.00<\/strong> was awarded to support Community Integrated Employment &amp; Workforce Development. NLACRC is releasing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek qualified individuals and or agencies for the following project:<\/p>\n<h3>Project #1 \u2013 Community Integrated Employment &amp; Workforce Development<\/h3>\n<p>The Contractor(s) will develop and implement activities designed to expand community integrated employments opportunities for individuals served by the Regional Center by strengthening access to education, workforce development resources, targeted training, and practical skill-building opportunities. Proposed activities may include workshops, informational sessions, career exploration, resource fairs, networking opportunities, and other innovative approaches that support job readiness and workforce participation.<\/p>\n<p>The Contractor(s) will cultivate partnerships with local employers, educational institutions, service providers, and community-based organizations to increase access to meaningful employment opportunities and promote inclusive hiring practices. Through collaboration, resource sharing, and community engagement, projects will improve employment outcomes and advance Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) opportunities for individuals served by the Regional Center. The funding for this project is up to $100,000.
