NEW! - Request for Proposal (RFP) for CPA Firms
NLACRC's Board of Trustees is seeking Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firms to perform annual audit and assurances; perform annual tax preparation services; and provide management consulting services for a five (5) year period, beginning with fiscal year ending 2011-2012 (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012) through fiscal year ending 2016-2017 (July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017). Optional Adult Dental Services for DDS Regional Center Consumers Restored
Effective January 13, 2012, the Medi-Cal Dental Program (Denti-Cal) will begin processing dental claims for regional center consumers age 21 and over, who have Medi-Cal and do not reside in a licensed health facility (Intermediate Care Facility or Skilled Nursing Facility). Services may be provided effective January 1, 2012; however providers should not submit claims for regional center consumers to Denti-Cal until January 13, 2012. Half Day Billing for Day Programs and Look-A-Like Day Programs
Due to a change in statute that went into effect on July 1, 2011, there is a new law, Welfare & Institutions Code (WIC) section 4690.60, which states that all day programs and look-a-like day programs with a daily rate are to bill regional centers for services provided to consumers served in terms of half days of service and full days of service. Uniform Holiday Schedule

Web Conference on Changes to Medi-Cal for Seniors and People with Disabilities

Starting June 2011, California's Department of Health Care Services (DCHS) is requiring people with disabilities and seniors who have Medi-Cal only (not Medicare) to enroll in a Medi-Cal managed care plan. DHCS has worked with the California HealthCare Foundation and the Center for Health Care Strategies to coordinate a 90-minute information webinar in May 2011 to provide information about the upcoming change to advocates and organizations that serve seniors and people with disabilities. Vendor Advisory Committee (VAC) Meetings

VAC meetings are held the 1st Thursday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at the Van Nuys office. We also host an Antelope Valley Vendor Forum the last Monday of every other month at 10 a.m. at the Lancaster office. This schedule is subject to change. If you are a provider and would like to attend a meeting, please contact Jennifer at jkaiser@nlacrc.org.




 


Direct Deposit
It’s simple to set up direct deposit. Read the information sheet, then fill out the enrollment form and mail it back to us. It will take approximately two payment processing cycles for the direct deposit to become active.
