BOARD PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
In thinking over my tenure as the President of the NLACRC Board of Trustees, I am most impressed by the effort, learning and skill development demonstrated by all of the board members.
Serving on the board presents opportunities to become familiar with the wide variety of services available to the Center’s consumers and their families, the Center’s staff and facilities, local issues such as transportation and housing, and the legislative process in Sacramento.
It was very gratifying to see board members participate in meetings and widen their understanding about the importance of the entire Regional Center system to consumers and their families.
We are truly fortunate to have such an organization in California.
