Vendor Coordinator, Community Services, Van Nuys,

Maintains Agency vendor records. Supervision from the Community
Services Manager. Receives and screens vendorization inquires; provides information in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and Agency standards. Receives and reviews completed applications, consults with subject matter experts, and issues vendorization approval letters and payment agreements. Verifies vendor licenses and credentials, maintains tracking systems for periodic review. Notifies vendors, regional center staff, and DDS of approved vendorization, rate actions, and other changes. Assigns vendor numbers, establishes and maintains paper files and computer databases on all vendors. Provides resource development of all individual, professional, and clinical vendors. Serves as bi-lingual translator for regularly scheduled family member vendor orientations. Knowledge includes Title 17 vendorization procedures, Lanterman Act, values and best practices, current regulatory information. Skills include collaborative problem resolution, comprehension of complex information, excellent written and verbal communication, organization, follow-through, computer database management, general computer skills, ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Requires an Associate’s degree with two years of related experience. A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for experience and is preferred. Salary: $2,689 - $3,268 per month, plus $150 bilingual payment.
